Sainte Enimie

Sainte Enimie, a medieval village in the spectacular Gorges du Tarn, Lozère, France. Dating from the 6th century, with steep cobbled streets, this is one of the prettiest of the many medieval villages in France. If you like history and architecture, France has it, and the great thing about that is that it doesn't have to be summer to enjoy it. As a contrast - at the other end of the gorge about 18 miles away, is the recently built motorway viaduct at Millau, the highest bridge in Europe, with (allegedly) the highest bridge towers in the world.
