British Columbia



A row of fence posts strung with barbed wire, page wire, and electric wire, topped with a fresh dumping of snow in a small rural community in southern British Columbia. Known as the Great White North, Northern parts of Canada do see a fair amount of snow during the winter season, but for those in the southern communities a white blanket of fresh snow is a welcome treat for a few days each year.
