Snow Blossoms photograph was taken during our nature wanderings through the Sierra Mountains in Northern California in Mariposa Grove outside of Yosemite National Park. These beautiful red flowers spring up just as the snow is disappearing to add color to the forest floors. We visited the Mariposa Grove in late May and were lucky that the road opened on that same day so we were able to get in and see all the wonders the grove holds. A small beauty among the giant sequoia trees, this beautiful red flower is delightful.
