Cherry Blossoms, Washington DC
Postcard featuring a photo of Cherry Blossoms taken in Washington DC's Tidal Basin area on my annual trip to see the blossoms in the spring of 2010.Cherry Blosssoms usually bloom for about 10 days and this was taken on on the peak bloom day. For those who do not know, the Cherry Blossoms in Washington DC were given to the US by Japan in 1912 as a sign of friendship between the two nations.
