Venice, Italy

When you're in Venice, Italy, be sure to visit the nearby islands. Murano is the glass island, and it's perhaps the most well-known, but don't leave out Burano, the Lace Island. Wander through its streets of pastel-colored homes and stores to find the lace shops. Then take a walk across a bridge like this one and along the canal and find boats tied up along it colored to match the houses. Don't miss your ferry back to Venice!
