Creuse , France
The Creuse is a department in the Limousin region of central France. Most people know the name Limoges from the pottery, but this is the countryside about 40 miles to the east, very rural and hilly with plenty of woodland. In spring the fields come alive with swathes of yellow dandelions, as bright as any canola fields. In this photo they are dotted with flowering cherry trees, with a tiny hamlet in the distance.
