Auvergne , France
Chateau d'Anjony is a 15th century castle in the Cantal department of the Auvergne, France. The castle was built by Louis d'Anjony who was a friend of Joan of Arc, and was the scene of a family feud for three centuries. The Tournemire family's castle, part-owned by the Anjony family, being easily seen from it. With four 130 feet high (40m) towers built of a red basalt stone, it overlooks the green Doire valley, with the local breed of chocolate brown Salers cattle grazing in the foreground.
