Monkey Scottbourgh South Africa
This cute little monkey is playing in a tree by a school in Scottbourgh, South Africa. Him and his friends were so cute climbing the tree and playing on the fence, but they really are wild animals, and they can be dangerous. One of these monkeys had earlier in the day come through an open window into a friends house and stolen a loaf of bread and threaten to attack the resident!

North Window Arch - Arches National Park Utah
This shot of Turret Arch through the North Window Arch was taken at Arches National Park. In order to get this shot I had to get to the arch before sunrise and climb through the arch and up to a small ledge and wait for the sun to rise.

Setting Sun - Thailand
The setting sun framed between two trees. The photo was taken near dusk during a trip to Thailand. The trip was taken for a couple to be married under both America and Thailand traditions.

Blue Ridge Parkway
This photograph was taken this spring on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is the National Parks most visited unit! The road twists and turns and there were flowers in bloom on both sides of the road. It was a partly cloudy day and I loved how the rocks on the side of the road were arranged. I am particularly fond of shooting roadscapes.

Pennington South Africa
This photograph of a stairway to the beach coming down over the high dunes which protect the houses was taken in Pennington, South Africa. I was walking along the beach from where I was staying to the little breakfast restaurant on the beach, and I noticed them coming down from above. They look so natural and fit so perfectly in the surroundings. On the way back I walked down the road on the other side to try to see which house they were coming from, and I narrowed it down to 2 that they could be from. Then i saw the most gorgeous house on that same street, a beautiful colonial style right there along the beach!
When I win the lottery I know where my summer house will be!

Somers Mansion - Somers Point, NJ
Somers Mansion hits above with is now the circle leading over the bridge to Ocean City, New Jersey. I grew up in the Somers Point area and this house is a big part of the local history. It was built by Richard Somers to house his family of Quakers. Years later this town would be come famous when a member of the family, Richard Somers would become a famous Naval Captian in the Battle of Tripoli. the USS Somers was named for the Great Grandson of the Family's Founder. The family grew up here in this house.
